RS Feva challenge - a new initiative for the club, giving non sailing school age children a chance to learn to sail and race in these olympic pathway dinghies. Happy New Year,
 The season start and membership renewal is not far away, hard to believe it will ever be warm and sunny again by looking out the window !Prior to sailing officially restarting there will be 2 weekends of work where members help would be most appreciated;
11/12 February will be roadwork, hiring a Bobcat to redistribute slag to fill in potholes. A few assistants with shovels and rakes would be appreciated.
18/19 February is verge tidying. We will be using the  tractor, strimmers and loppers. Equipment will be provided.
Step construction for access to inlet and outlet pipes. Materials and tools will be provided.Interior of clubhouse painting. Club will supply paint, could volunteers bring applicators and dust sheets.
Thank you in anticipation.
Also;The weekend of 1 & 2 April is declared as Get Your Boat or Board Out Weekend. There will be instructors, regular sailors and safety boat cover over both days. Its hoped that we will have a good attendance to spark off the season and especially get some boats and boards which have been dry for a while, onto the water.
